The frontend development field is constantly changing and advancing in your career is becoming more and more difficult. For one, the sheer amount of people in the industry has gone up drastically. AND, not to mention, what it actually means to be a frontend developer worthy of a tech job is getting more and more complicated. So, the question becomes, "How do you establish yourself as a frontend web developer? AND THEN, "How do you grow in your career?" Those are exactly the questions I discuss with Chris Coyier from CSS Tricks. Chris' blog and how-to guides were AND STILL ARE a lifeline for me as a frontend developer. Typically, if I have a question or can't figure something out regarding HTML or CSS, CSS Tricks is the FIRST place I go to. In fact, I have guides from CSS Tricks bookmarked on my bookmarks bar and I reference them all the time. I was so happy to have him on the podcast this week!
